Try San Francisco Cable Car

There are plenty of areas where you can board the cable car depending on where your accommodation is. You can board it at Powell & Market, Bay & Taylor, and Hyde & Beach Street. If you are coming to the airport, Hyde and Beach Street will take you around 20-30 minutes of travel time. The shortest route is the Powell & Market stop which takes about 15-18 travel time. Experience this iconic ride that will give you a panoramic view of the city. It also gets exciting once your ride descends from the steep hill. 

Ferry Ride to Sausalito

On the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge is Sausalito, a Marin County city that charms thousands of tourists every year. There are plenty of things that you can do in this city such as seaplane adventures, kayaking, or visiting old shipyards. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops you can visit. There are plenty of options on how to get there. The first option is to take a ferry from San Francisco. From the airport take your Budget Car Rental to Fisherman’s Wharf, a 25-minute drive then ride the ferry. You can also drive to the San Francisco Ferry Building which is a shorter route, about a 20-minute drive, to take a ferry ride. Other options are biking (about 8 miles long), tour or commuter bus, or by rideshares and taxis.
